Kurta / Sherwani
Sherwanis were the exclusive dress of Indian royalty in the 19th century. Kings and nobles wore richly embroidered and embellished sherwanis as a symbol of their wealth and status. Over time, the dress was adopted by the common man and worn in the courts of the King. In modern day India, the sherwani is still considered traditional formal wear and is worn by men for auspicious gatherings and at weddings. The kurta is a semi-formal collarless long shirt that comes to us from ancient India. The kurta pajama is the most acceptable form of Indian ethnic wear for men.
Natsy by design brings you sherwanis and kurtas in a variety of colours and fabrics to suit every occasion, handcrafted by design maestro Shayan Mitra Mustafi under the brand name of Instant Moksha.
We also offer bespoke clothing experience, like the ateliers of Savile Row, Europe, a concept of luxury menswear, where the patron is a part of the design process, customizing small details, like the patron's utilitarian needs, his perfect body contour and even monogrammed name or initials, that go into the creation of a custom-made product.
